This Safety Side Up course provides discussion, activities and hands-on practice to increase your confidence and give you the skills you need to be the best babysitter possible. This includes safely finding and preparing for a babysitting job, caring for kids of all ages. It also includes dealing with difficult situations, preparing safe and fun activities, making safe choices and basic first aid.
This is a two-day training. To earn Babysitting Certification, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Be 11 years or older.
- Attend both sessions: July 9th and 10th, from 1 - 5pm each day.
- Arrive on time, stay for the full duration, and actively take part while demonstrating the qualities of a responsible babysitter.
- Register before attending - registration opens on June 18.
