Kids in grades 4-5 are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.

Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along. 

No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.

Ofrecemos actividades que promueven la alfabetización temprana, leyendo libros, cantando, jugando y haciendo manualidades. Los padres, hermanos mayores de 6 años y cuidadores son bienvenidos. Build spreadsheet skills with the cloud-based, free software Google Sheets. This class, friendly to beginners with Google Accounts, allows an alternative to the Microsoft Excel class, while teaching many of the same skills. In this class, students become familiar with the user experience using Google Sheets, learn how to format cells, perform functions, and create graphs and tables.
Google Sheets Class Objectives:

Come meet with staff from the Oregon Department of Human Services and Partner for a Hunger-free Oregon to to sign up for SNAP and other benefits and get information about targeted services to help people move out of poverty. 

Learn to design an acrylic keychain in the Glowforge web app, prepare your project for production, and send your creation to the laser cutter! All materials will be provided.

To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, with bonus socialization for babies and the adults. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

One-year-olds (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, movement activities, rhymes, books and playtime. This action-packed program engages new walkers in language-based activities. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Learn to play the violin in a welcoming, drop-in environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor. Lessons are first-come, first-served, every 20 minutes. Sign up outside Room 1J or drop in if a slot is open.

Teens and Tweens are invited to attend special craft afternoons at the library! All supplies are provided and it's free! For ages 9-18. 

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.
