¡Vengan a disfrutar y divertirse en este programa interactivo para niños de 0 a 6 años! Ofrecemos actividades que promueven la alfabetización temprana, leyendo libros, cantando, jugando y haciendo manualidades. Los padres de familia, hermanos mayores de 6 años y cuidadores son bienvenidos. Este programa se presenta en español.

La asistencia es limitada y hay entradas gratuitas disponibles 15 minutos antes de la hora de cuentos.  

Join us this summer for a Black Storytime series celebrating African and African American heritage and culture! Children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members) will have fun with books and stories, songs, a craft, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten.

Come play Mahjong at the library and connect with community! Experienced players welcome at this weekly meet up at Gresham Library.

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills.

Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Teens grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join teen librarian Chloë for an afternoon of creative exploration in the large conference room at Gresham. The Rockwood makerspace will be bringing a small collection of creative tools — make a vinyl sticker, sew a pillow, play with electronics. It’s your choice! What is STEAM? It stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

Kids will love making noise with Kids Junk Orchestra! Through the use of non-conventional items such as buckets and recycled items, youth learn how to create various sounds and rhythms. This class focuses on group cooperation, basic rhythm drumming skills, team building, specialized drumming instruction and a safe environment to perform musically. This event is first-come, first-serve.

En este programa interactivo, los niños no solo se sumergirán en la encantadora historia de Nico escrita por Joeanally Gonzalez, sino que también darán vida a los personajes a través de un taller creativo de títeres. No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.
