Play and learning go hand in hand. Join other families in a fun playtime at the library with books, toys, music, and all the room you need to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

After storytime, we will have social time with either toys or a craft activity! Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime. Drop in and create with us! While supplies last. No registration required. First come, first serve. Ideal for Ages 6 - 12.

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. The dogs and handlers are from Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Dove Lewis Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams, Paws for Love, and Pet Partners®.
