K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual

Virtual Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Poetry for Teens Part 2: Anatomy of a Poem

Petals and Thorns Poetry Workshop: Anatomy of a Poem, is a workshop that was created for novice and seasoned writers and poets who are interested in exploring the craft of poetry. Come be in community, get those thoughts out and share your love of expression! During the workshop, participants will take a deeper look at literary devices/tools and artistic choices used to craft poetry.
