Creative Learning: Bambu 3D Printer
Use a 3D printer and get help from staff on creating a project of your choice (subject to time limits). No experience necessary! A selection of colors of PLA will be available for you to use.
Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens August 27.
Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Make Me! Polymer Clay
Come learn how to make something new! Twice a month you can learn a new skill with library staff. Other Thursdays in the month are open labs to continue working on your projects!
This month, we're exploring Polymer Clay! We'll be making earrings on September 3rd and trinket dishes on September 24th.

Midland Repair Cafe
Please join us for a Repair Cafe at Midland Library with Repair PDX! Volunteers will be ready to repair small appliances, toys, bikes, clothing, home decor, and jewelry.
Limited to one repair at a time per person. Please try to bring any useful parts or instruction manuals for the repair. Items can be admitted for repair until 2pm.
Teen Soldering Workshop: Wire, Solder, & Power Up!
Teens in 6th-12th grade: Get ready to melt metal and bring electronics to life! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll master the essential skill of through-hole soldering. We’ll kick off with a quick "soldering bootcamp" where you'll practice cutting, stripping, and soldering wires to get comfortable with the iron.
