Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Space is limited. Every tween must be signed up in advance to reserve a spot.

Join us in the East County Creative Learning Room to create, learn new skills, and connect with friends! Our sessions are perfect for kids in grades 4-6 (ages 9-12).

Staff and volunteers will help you 3D print a project of your choice (subject to time limits). Whether you're brand new to 3D printing or already have an STL file ready, we'll help you on the next step of your 3D printing journey. No experience necessary. An assortment of colors of PLA will be available.

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Join us at the library for a journey into the world of video editing! Unleash your creativity and sharpen your editing skills by learning fundamentals of editing. Learn how to trim, transition and enhance your footage in a supportive community environment.

Teen Maker Time provides a welcoming, creative space tailored for teens in 6th - 12th grades to connect, explore, and learn with other teens. Develop hands-on maker skills, discover new technologies, and build confidence with peers in a supportive community setting.
