Creative Learning: Intro to Laser Cutting with the Glowforge
Learn to design an acrylic keychain in the Glowforge web app, prepare your project for production, and send your creation to the laser cutter! All materials will be provided.

Teen Game Night
Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our game night the first Tuesday of every month! We'll play video games and board games, talk about games, and eat snacks.
Creative Learning: Glowforge Laser Cutter
Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Design, cut, and decorate a custom magnet using a laser cutter and other art supplies. All materials will provided.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Teen drop-in: Get creative at the makerspace!
Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Use a 3D printer and get help from staff on creating a project of your choice (subject to time limits). No experience necessary! A selection of colors of PLA will be available for you to use.

Mini Worlds for Kids with Tinker Camp
You’re an explorer and anthropologist and discover a miniature world that everyone else thought was only imaginary. Create a model of your teeny, tiny world so everyone can see with Tinker Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting STEAM education in your community. Use cool materials and tools to design and build a small scale version of whatever you discovered. Tiny rooms in a teeny house? A pint-sized playground? A miniature amusement park?
