East County Library houses Multnomah County Library’s first public auditorium space to host cultural celebrations, lectures, performances, and more. You can enter the auditorium from the first floor of the building.

Space Features
The auditorium offers the amenities necessary for a successful event:
- Capacity: Seating for up to 200 people (flexible seating arrangements available).
- Audio/Visual: State-of-the-art projector, large screen, built-in sound system, and wireless microphone capabilities.
- Accessibility: Fully ADA compliant with accessible seating and access to restroom facilities. There is also an assistive listening system specifically for the auditorium, which amplifies sounds so hard-of-hearing patrons can fully engage with library events.
Reservation
We will begin offering the Auditorium for limited private rentals later this summer. Our rental policies and rates will be posted to this page soon. Please check back for updates.
