One Book, One Coast

One Book, One Coast aims to unite libraries for the largest book club on the West Coast. The program will celebrate literacy, learning, community, and civic discourse. Over 100 libraries throughout Washington, Oregon and California will gather from April 1 to May 31 to read a shared book together. This year’s pick is They Called Us Enemy by George Takei. The bestselling graphic memoir recounts Takei’s experiences in incarceration camps during his childhood.
