Sensory rooms policy

The library provides access to sensory rooms, stimulant-sensitive spaces, for patrons with sensory needs. Sensory rooms support accessibility and inclusion through providing a calming environment.

Creative Learning spaces and equipment policy

The library’s Creative Learning spaces and equipment are available to the public to design and make objects, including both digital and physical creations using software or speciality equipment. Users of the Creative Learning spaces and equipment must follow the rules below and adhere to the Safety Rules and Creative Learning User Agreement as well as the library rules and any other library policies.

East County Library Auditorium and Rooftop Terrace Use Policy

The purpose of this policy is to guide the reservation and use of the Auditorium and Rooftop Terrace at East County Library.

Lactation rooms

Lactation rooms policy: a private space for feeding infants or expressing milk. The lactation rooms are for nursing patrons to use, and are available all hours the library is open.

Public use of large community rooms policy

This policy addresses the use of large community rooms, which is defined as spaces that accommodate more than 12 people, and require an application and approval for use.
