With PressReader, you can flip through the pages of national and regional newspapers like an e-book. Titles include The Boston Globe, The New York Times, USA Today and many more.
You’ll find newspapers published in the U.S. and across the world, in English and other languages. PressReader also includes magazines featuring news, sports, book reviews, fashion, science and other topics.

Global Newsstream
Use Global Newsstream to read articles and archives from the 1980s to now. Find newspapers like The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and more.
Global Newsstream offers hundreds of newspapers published in the U.S. and around the world in many languages.
To find and read a specific newspaper:
- Go to Global Newsstream on the library website, and log in with your library card number and password.
- Click the “Publications” link above the search box.
- Search for the newspaper you want by name.
The Oregonian
To read the PDF version of recent issues of The Oregonian, with all the pictures:
- Go to the Oregonian Collection with Historical Archives on the library website, and log in with your library card number and password.
- Scroll down the page and choose “Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) 2017 - Current USA - OR - Portland Newspaper Image English.”
- You’ll see a calendar with links to recent issues. For newspapers published in previous years, use the “Change year” dropdown menu near the top right to pick a different year.
New York Times Digital Access
Get full access to everything on the New York Times website and mobile app with New York Times Digital Access. To get started:
- Log in with your library card number and password.
- Follow the link to create an account on the New York Times website.
Some tips:
- If you already have a New York Times digital account, you must create a new one to get library access.
- Each time you visit New York Times Digital Access and get a digital pass, you’ll have access for 24 hours. When your pass expires, you can get a new one.
- If you receive a message that all passes are in use, try again later.
