Getting here: Parking and transportation

The East County Library is conveniently located and easily accessible by car, public transit (Trimet bus and MAX), and bicycle.

Ways to get to East County Library

  • Take the MAX to the Gresham City Hall MAX Station and arrive at the front doors. 
    • MAX (Blue Line): There is 24-hour covered parking at the Gresham Garage Park & Ride, which is three minutes east of the City Hall location and is one of three Park & Ride sites in Gresham: trimet.org/parkandride/#gresham.
  • Take the FX2, 287, 82, or 21 to nearby bus stops just around the corner.
  • Bike or walk there along the Wy-East Way Path or the Springwater Corridor Trail.
  • Drive there via one of many routes including along the I-84, US-26, or Division St.

Bicycle parking

If you’re biking to the library, you have a few options for where to park your bicycle in both covered and uncovered areas.

South Porch Entrance (NW Division St)

  • Covered: 16 bike capacity

South Plaza

  • Uncovered: 18 bike capacity

North Porch Entrance (Trimet stop)

  • Covered: 24 bike capacity

Parking

The library has a free, dedicated parking garage with 71 spaces available during library operating hours. There are four ADA accessible parking spaces in the parking garage with elevator access to the building. There are also four electric vehicle charging stations available for charging during library hours. Additional street parking is available on NW Division or Ava Street. 

Gresham City Hall Parking Lot (1433 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon)

East County Library patrons may use the Gresham City Hall parking lot for library visits after 5pm on weekdays and from 9am–9pm on weekends.
