Teens in 6th-12th grade: Get ready to melt metal and bring electronics to life! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll master the essential skill of through-hole soldering. We’ll kick off with a quick "soldering bootcamp" where you'll practice cutting, stripping, and soldering wires to get comfortable with the iron. Then, you’ll step up to building three awesome circuit kits—the first one together as a group, followed by two self-paced builds with experts nearby to help you debug and guide your technique. No prior soldering or electronics experience is required! All materials are provided. For grades 6-12. Registration opens on August 29.
