Students from Chamber Music Northwest's Young Artist Institute will be performing short "pop-up" performances all around Portland! They will be visiting the Central Library at 1:00pm on June 24th to perform a 30 minute recital featuring music for solo strings.
CMNW's Young Artist Institute (YAI), in its fifth year, is an intensive education program for 16 talented string players from around the world, ages 14-17. The three-week YAI program will be held from June 14 to July 5, and the young musicians will be featured in free performances throughout the community.
