Children’s Day and Book Day

Día de los Niños y Día de los Libros (Children’s Day and Book Day), often referred to as Día, is an annual library celebration of children, literacy, culture, family and multilingualism.
This year, Multnomah County Library is celebrating Día with book displays, events at the library and more.

“As a universal language for all ages, music is essential to sharing our diverse identities and traditions. This year I’m thrilled the library is hosting Musica de Sudamerica at various libraries including our newest pop-up location at the University of Oregon,” says Pati Morán, Spanish community engagement coordinator.

Children’s Day and Book Day is made possible in part by gifts to The Library Foundation.
