This exhibition, co-curated by photographer Jim Lommasson and poet Willa Schneberg, celebrates over twenty senior seasoned poets. Jim photographed special objects of these esteemed writers, encompassing what they carry inside — lives filled with creativity, work, intimacy, autonomy, family, place and loss. The object images are paired with their handwritten poems in the white space of the prints. Included are their actual physical objects, memorabilia and artist books.
Memories of Summer

Memories of Summer tells the story of three Latin American artists: Guisy Tello from Guatemala, Orlando Almanza from Cuba, and Erick I. Rodriguez from Venezuela. They explore memory, belonging, and identity through reflections on their childhood homes and will revisit moments that shaped who they are today in painting and photography.
