Symphony Storytime: The Strings with Vijeta Sathyaraj
The Oregon Symphony is on the road for interactive, musical storytimes. Each week features a visit from an Oregon Symphony musician who will play and provide an introduction to their instrument and orchestral music. In our final storytime of the spring series, we will meet the strings with violinist Vijeta Sathyaraj. This program is best for preschoolers - 12 with their grownups.

Read to the Dogs
Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. The dogs and handlers are from Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Dove Lewis Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams, Paws for Love, and Pet Partners®.

Hillsdale Chess Club
Come play chess at Hillsdale Library with friends and neighbors. All experience levels are welcome! A facilitator will be onsite to help with rules, tips, or competition.

Head for the Hills Poetry Reading
Join us at the Hillsdale Library for an evening of poetry. Every month co-hosts Sherri Levine and Dale Champlin will bring you two or three featured poets, followed by an ever-popular open mic. Readers include celebrated poets as well as poets from the Portland poetry community and the library vicinity. Held on the fourth Wednesday of the month all year round!
