Get in touch with your creative side and your green thumb at the library! Discover the simple joy of painting your own pot with unique, personalized designs. Learn all about fresh herbs and plant your favorites, like basil and mint! Leave with a beautiful, custom herb garden to brighten your home and your cooking. All supplies provided, no experience needed. Bring your creativity and a desire to get your hands a little dirty!

Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along.

Families are invited to try circus skills together, led by experienced instructors from Circus Cascadia. The goal of a family circus workshop is to get parents and children playing together! It can include tightrope, walking globe, juggling scarves, flowersticks and other circus equipment. The workshop can begin with a scarf circle as a whole group, followed by a more freeform structure of guided exploration and play.

Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.
