Multnomah County Library and your family
Some library items are not suitable for children and teens. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding what is right for their children. Please help your children choose library items that fit your values.
Computers in children’s areas have filtered internet searching. Children 12 and under have filtered internet searching. Teens age 13-17 can choose filtered or unfiltered. You can change your child’s filtering option.
The library respects the privacy of all library users, no matter their age. You will need your child’s library card or card number to get information such as a list of checked out titles or overdue items.
