Coffee and Conversation
Community members experiencing houselessness, welcome! You're invited to join staff for informal conversation and community. Come join us to ask us about the Library, tell us what you'd like to do here, or a casual chat! Coffee and light snacks provided, and no registration required.
Resume Review Drop-in
Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along.
No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.
Microsoft Word with Goodwill Industries
Begin to master the spectrum of capabilities within Microsoft Word, gaining practical formatting skills and an introduction to advanced skills such as design and layout. Students will learn to navigate the tabs and ribbon within Word and understand how to use the tools that word processing software can provide to job seekers and employees in the workforce.

Book Babies
Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, with bonus socialization for babies and the adults. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Multnomah County Library storytimes are supported by gifts made to The Library Foundation.
Makerspace drop-in for teens
What will you create? Bring your ideas and make them a reality with 3D printers, craft cutters, laser cutter, sewing machines, art supplies and more.

Lego Club
Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.
Teen Anime Club
View, review, snack and yak about all things anime. Do you love anime? If so, join our anime club! We meet every other week to discuss our favorite series, watch anime, and eat snacks!
Preschool Sensory Storytime Online
This preschool storytime is especially welcoming for children and families who are looking for a more adaptive virtual storytime experience. This program is intended for children and their caregivers. Participants may be asked to identify themselves either through camera, chat, or by unmuting. Tween Council
Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids ages in grades 4-6.

P is for Poetry with The Poet Lady Rose for Kids
This class introduces the concept of poetry and writing with La Toya A. Hampton, aka The Poet Lady Rose, by using stories, music, and activities. Exploring themes such as growing up, self-esteem, feelings, and friendship together makes this a perfect class to meet new friends! The best age groups for this event are from Kindergarten to 2nd grade, or kids 5 to 7 years old.
