Come play chess at Hillsdale Library with friends and neighbors. All experience levels are welcome! A facilitator will be onsite to help with rules, tips, or competition. 

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.

Dive into all things zine with Outlet PDX! In this workshop we’ll explore the history and different types of zines. We'll also talk about where to find and share them along with different zine formats. We’ll also spend some time actually DEFINING what a zine is for those who are new to this amazing medium! We'll give tons of prompts, tips, and inspiration so you can take ideas and turn them into a tangible lovely THING.

This workshop encourages emotional healing and happiness in young and mature women. Connect to your inner child while creating a decorative healing doll that memorializes your inner and outer beauty and reminds you of your experiences, magnificence, power and purpose.

Come play American Mahjong at the library and connect with community! Experienced players are invited to join our fun and friendly group. Be sure to bring your current National Mah Jongg League cards.

The Rockwood Makerspace and MetroEast Community Media will give you the tools to share your content using awesome audio/video recording equipment and software. For teens in grades 6-12.
