East County Library is now open for you to enjoy!

Join us for a 45 minute walking tour through the building. We will meet near the Central stair. Registration required.

Staff and volunteers will help you design your own creation and then send it to the laser cutter (subject to time limits). Keychains, magnets, phone stands, decorative boxes, ornaments, puzzles -- there are many options! No experience necessary. An assortment of laser-safe materials will be available.

Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Step into the world of beats with, rhythms, and melodies as you learn what it means to be a DJ. This program offers an immersive and hands-on introduction to the craft of DJing with DJs from Ext.606. Both tools of the trade and strategies of the art will be studied.

Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.

Discover American Mahjong basics in this course. Class size is limited to 8 participants, and registration is required.

About the Drop-in Games 

Staff and volunteers will help you 3D print a project of your choice (subject to time limits). Whether you're brand new to 3D printing or already have an STL file ready, we'll help you on the next step of your 3D printing journey. No experience necessary. An assortment of colors of PLA will be available.

Learn to play the violin in a welcoming environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor.
