端午节是华人的重要传统节日之一，定在每年农历五月初五，是夏季送离五瘟神，驱除瘟疫的节日。 2009年9月，联合国教科文组织正式将其列入《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》，成为中国首个入选世界非物质文化遗产的节日。

龙舟，也是端午节期间使用的人力船只。龙舟不但具有文化属性，更发展为体育活动。波特兰举行龙舟比赛也有近30年历史，让我们用3D笔来做只独一无二的龙舟，一起庆祝今年的端午节。

糖葫芦是发祥于京津地区的一种传统小吃，北京称冰糖葫芦 ，天津称糖礅；青岛则称糖球，闽南语又称其为李仔攕、鸟梨仔糖等；现在已经成为各地华人流行的一种小吃。

糖葫芦将酸酸的水果穿上甜甜的糖衣, 早期是以四处走动的方式在庙会前或闹市沿街叫卖，令人怀念的滋味，总是吸引大人小朋友的眼光。让我们全家一起动手做糖葫芦，重温儿时甜甜的回忆。
