Come sing, listen, learn and celebrate. Join Karen Kitchen (Osage Nation) for this story hour featuring songs and books from Native cultures. Children, families, elders, aunties and uncles — everyone is welcome. Note there are also in person events with Karen, but this one is online!

Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along. 

No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.

Learn how to make your photos look clearer, brighter, and more professional using Snapseed, a free photo-editing app for your smartphone. In this 90-minute hands-on class, you will learn simple tools and techniques to confidently edit photos for social media, small businesses, or personal use.

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens February 25.

Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Ofrecemos actividades que promueven la alfabetización temprana, leyendo libros, cantando, y jugando. La Hora de Cuentos virtual está diseñada para niños de edad preescolar y sus cuidadores. Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, with bonus socialization for babies and the adults. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. The dogs and handlers are from Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Dove Lewis Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams, Paws for Love, and Pet Partners®.

Join fellow puzzlers to tackle 1000-piece challenges! These pieces feature everything from surreal art to suspiciously smug-looking cats. Someone always misplaces a corner piece...until it magically reappears, that is. No rules, no pressure, and absolutely no gluing allowed. 

This event is intended for patrons 16 years and older.
