Learn about the process of becoming a citizen. Prepare for your citizenship interview. Study United States history and government for the examination. Classes are taught in English.

Tweens, make comics come to life through the characters on the page. Join Wildfire cartoonist Breena Bard for this workshop demonstrating the basics of designing characters for comics. Then put your skills to work to create characters for your own comic!

This event is first come, first served.

Kids in grades 2-3 and their favorite adults are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.

Learn to felt a sea unicorn! In this beginner level class, LeBrie will teach you how to felt a friendly narwhal. All levels welcome, all materials provided. Let’s craft together!

This program is intended for teen patrons. It is first come, first served.

Fire cider is an age-old way to preserve herbs for the fall and winter months and is used to help boost the immune system, increase circulation, and support the liver. We will make a traditional recipe and taste a few variations. Everyone will go home with a fire cider of their own.

Join Habiba, a native of Ghana, in learning the richness of West African culture through song and dance. Habiba offers an interactive, multicultural lesson with authentic West African costume, spiced with singing and movement. The whole audience gets involved in simple dance steps, call and response, greetings and phrases, and rhythm drumming.
