Resume Review Drop-in
Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along.
No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.
Intro to Music Technology
Today's technologies have granted more access to music making than ever before! This course provides a space where students from all backgrounds can begin to make creative musical decisions for themselves. Here you will learn Ableton Live, Music Composition, Sound Design, Field Recording, Film Composition, and much more!

Juneteenth: Where the Heart Is & Reviving the Black Head Nod
Celebrate Juneteenth by watching film at the Rockwood Library! Where the Heart Is and Reviving the Black Head Nod by local photographer, filmmaker, and educator Elijah Hasan. Hasan has emerged as one of the region's most daring and innovative artists. His work knows no boundaries or genres, as he moves between documentary, experimental, and narrative filmmaking. Join us for this 1 hour screening, and staff-led discussion.
Lego Club
Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills.
Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Microsoft Word with Goodwill Industries
Begin to master the spectrum of capabilities within Microsoft Word, gaining practical formatting skills and an introduction to advanced skills such as design and layout. Students will learn to navigate the tabs and ribbon within Word and understand how to use the tools that word processing software can provide to job seekers and employees in the workforce.

Music and Dance
Enjoy songs, rhymes, rhythm and dance in this active program for children ages 0 to 6 and their parents or caregivers.

Juneteenth: Kids Junk Orchestra - A Musical Journey
Kids Junk Orchestra players make rhythms and music on whatever surface they can think of — drums, bongos, buckets, body percussion, and even pots and pans!
Queer Youth Club
A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.
Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth during the summer while school GSAs (Genders & Sexualities Alliances) are closed. This club will run from June 18-August 20. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.
Makerspace drop-in for adults
What will you create? Bring your ideas, inventions, and projects to share or to get help on. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. If you are new to computers, entry-level computer classes and one-on-one assistance are available at the library.
Juneteenth: Food and History - Texas Style
Stones, Bones, and Black-Eyed Peas presents: Juneteenth Food, Texas Style! Join chef and owner of Finer Things Events and Catering, Michelle Guinn, with her daughter, Sable Askew and take a trip back into history. Enjoy a cooking demonstration of Great Uncle Nolan’s all-meat Texas chili, red drink, and homemade vanilla ice cream celebrating freedom and foods cooked and beloved by African American culinary connoisseurs.

Sample Chopping 101 Workshop
Learn how to craft original compositions with the art of sample manipulation. Through hands-on exercises, students learn essential techniques for precise chopping, tempo synchronization and creative arrangement.
