Even War Has Rules: International Humanitarian Law

The American Red Cross offers a one hour introduction to International Humanitarian Law which is also known as the Law of Armed Conflict or the Law of War. The one hour class provides an introduction to the development of the laws of war in the nineteenth century, the main principles of this law and the role of the Red Cross in its creation and maintenance.

Native American Heritage Month: Author talk by David G Lewis

Meet the venerated researcher, scholar, and Oregon State University professor, David G. Lewis. He shares the profound Indigenous story of the Willamette Valley, the impact of colonization by settlers and what the First Nations experienced living on the Grand Ronde reservation. New stories will be revealed that do not appear in other history books. Dr. Lewis is a Native a member of the Grand Ronde tribe.

K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual

Virtual Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.
