The Oregon Symphony is on the road for interactive, musical storytimes. Each week features a visit from an Oregon Symphony musician who will play and provide an introduction to their instrument and orchestral music. 

May 31st: Ines Voglar Belgique with the violin

June 14th: Stephen Kehner with percussion instruments

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome. 

Central Library, beloved by the community since 1913, is now open with modern enhancements for you to enjoy!

Join us for a 45 minutes walking tour through the building.  No registration required.

Learn about bike maintenance and bring your bicycle with you to get some hands-on experience doing basic repairs!

We'll go over the major systems on a bike, learn how to do some simple adjustments and have time to practice flat repair.

You're encouraged to bring your bike and any specific questions about issues you might have, but it's not required for attendance.

Learn that wonderful beings come in all shapes and sizes with Dragon Theater Puppets and Princesses! The Sneaky Mayor of bug town, Mr. Ess, has decided to shut down the school! A caterpillar and ladybug make a bet to save the school by proving he's the meanest bug in the world. He bets that they can't visit 6 countries in 30 days because they are so little. So they prove him wrong and fly a hot air balloon around the world!

Learn about the process of becoming a citizen in an 11-week series of classes. Prepare for your citizenship interview. Study United States history and government for the examination. Classes are taught by a volunteer from SOAR Legal.
