Play and learning go hand in hand. Join other families for a fun playtime (for ages 2-3) with books, toys, music, and all the room you need to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

From Wires to Wonders: Hands-On Introduction to Electronics
Join us to spark your curiosity and dive into the electrifying world of electronics! No prior programming experience needed – we'll guide you every step of the way. Get hands-on as you learn to solder and program Arduinos with circuits you design.

Portland was the birthplace of bands like The Wipers, Neo Boys, The Rat$, Poison Idea, and so many more. Experience Portland's DIY punk music scene (1977-1984) through photos, artifacts, memorabilia, original artwork, flyers, zines . . . and whatever else we dug out of our attics.

Teen Anime Club
Do you love anime? Are you in middle school or high school? If so, join our anime club! We meet two times a month at the Rockwood Library Makerspace to watch anime, discuss our favorite series, and eat yummy snacks. We can talk about mangas, do anime crafts, and design anime-themed materials as well!
