Microsoft Excel with Goodwill Industries

Enhance your professional competencies by beginning to utilize the capabilities possible with Microsoft Excel. Students will be introduced to critical Excel functions such as creating graphs and tables from data sets, becoming familiar with tools to sort and filter large data sets, and enhance the efficiency of their data entry. This course offers students a space to build a strong foundation for understanding a complex software program and the opportunity to explore potential applications for using Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Excel Class Objectives:

  • Learn how to interact with and access the application.
  • Get started making charts and using keyboard shortcuts.
  • Explore using formulas, equations, tables, and graphs.
  • Discover conditional formatting and other page layout options.
  • Review how to check, protect and share workbooks.
