Videography Basics: 2-Hour Course

This 2-hour introductory course is designed for aspiring videographers and anyone interested in learning the fundamental principles of video production. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of key videography concepts, empowering them to capture compelling and professional-looking footage. All necessary camera equipment will be provided for hands-on learning.

We'll Cover:

Camera Types: An overview of common video cameras, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders, highlighting their strengths and ideal uses.
Essential Settings: Demystifying aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance and their impact on exposure, motion, and color.
Focusing Techniques: Achieving sharp and clear footage through manual and autofocus methods.
Composition and Framing
Rule of Thirds: Applying this classic photographic principle to create balanced and visually interesting shots.
Shot Types: Understanding and utilizing wide shots, medium shots, close-ups, and their narrative purposes.
