What will you create? Bring your ideas and make them a reality with 3D printers, craft cutters, laser cutter, sewing machines, art supplies and more. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-ups start outside the makerspace at 2:30. No advance registration.
Children in fifth grade or under must be accompanied by an attentive adult or teen.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. If you are new to computers, entry-level computer classes and one-on-one assistance are available at the library.

Parents' Guide to filters and the Internet
Library customers age 18 years and older can choose between filtered and unfiltered Internet access each time they use a library computer. In setting library policies for Internet use by children and teens, our goal is to provide age-appropriate access to information while ensuring that our libraries are safe and welcoming places for young people.
Use your Spanish skills to help adults complete their GED
Spanish-speaking volunteers are always needed to tutor adults completing their GED program. Helping other adults further their education makes an immediate impact both for individuals and the community as a whole.

Thanks to the support of voters, Multnomah County Library is hard at work on a major transformation. New spaces will replace cramped buildings and help the library change and grow along with the community. The library will upgrade computers and technology in every location.

Storytime in and out of the library
The library hosts storytimes in multiple languages including Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish and English. Storytimes are family-friendly library programs, typically for young children birth to age six.
The 33rd Summer Olympic Games will take place in Paris, France from July 26 to August 11, 2024 with the 16th Summer Paralympic Games following on August 28 to September 8.
