Make a sweet for your sweetheart (or yourself). Using needle felting techniques, we'll create beautiful and intricate soft-sculpture cakes, cookies and other confections. Great for beginners. First come, first served (up to 20 participants.) 

Audience: Adults/Seniors

Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids aged 9-12.

Kids in grades 4-5 are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.

Virtual Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Our tutors are limited and we cannot guarantee a spot. You can register here and someone will be in touch with more information. Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Learn the basics of making hats, mittens and more. Continue making them until our final session and we'll collect everything we made and celebrate our successes. Keep one item for yourself and the rest we'll donate to Rose Haven, a day shelter that serves women and children experiencing abuse and/or houselessness.

This program is for tweens ages 8 and older.

Join us for teen council. It’s a fun way to make new friends, earn volunteer hours by helping your library and your community — AND get free snacks!

For teens grades 8-12.

You don’t have to register or commit to coming regularly. Just come when you are available.
