STEAM Themed Teen Dream Drop-In
Teens grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join teen librarian Chloë for an afternoon of creative exploration in the large conference room at Gresham. The Rockwood makerspace will be bringing a small collection of creative tools — make a vinyl sticker, sew a pillow, play with electronics. It’s your choice! What is STEAM? It stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

Explaining Data Theft: Learn How to Protect Yourself
Who is responsible when your online privacy is violated? Do you worry about how to protect yourself with modern technology? Have you been a ‘data theft’ victim? Join author, cybersecurity expert, government whistleblower, and privacy rights activist Danielle Spencer, for this important live workshop during Choose Privacy Week.
Tween Council
Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids aged 9-12.
Makerspace drop-in for adults
What will you create? Bring your ideas, inventions, and projects to share or to get help on. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. If you are new to computers, entry-level computer classes and one-on-one assistance are available at the library.

This preschool storytime is especially welcoming for children ages 3-5 and families who are looking for a smaller, more adaptive library experience.
