Poetry with a Kick!
Join Renée Roman Nose, award-winning author and poet, for a poetry workshop. Renée has held workshops across America and Canada, guiding others to find their own, unique voice. In this class, you will learn how to dig deep, to perform in a confident manner and to share the messages of your poetry in a fun, caring and interesting way.
Indigenous Author Visit: Shuína Skó
Join Indigenous author Shuína Skó, citizen of the Klamath Nation, for a gathering filled with stories and art. Shuína will read from their new children's book Little Loki Gets Lost, and share the traditional ewksiknii story about lok (grizzly bear in the ewksiknii language), the teacher of respect.
Shuína Skó will sign copies for you to take home.

Watch a Hoop Dance performance, join an interactive demonstration and learn about the cultural storytelling of Hoop Dance!
Cooper Nez represents the next generation of Indigenous hoop dancers. Cooper Nez is Irish and Diné (Kinłichii’nii, born for the Redhouse clan).

Paradise of Samoa dance troupe performs colorful and authentic dance and music from the islands of Hawaii,Samoa, Tahiti, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. The show is a "tour of the Pacific Islands", with cultural history narrated between dances. Fun for all ages!
