Meet one-on-one with a friendly, knowledgeable Tech Helper who will help you find answers to questions about mobile devices, websites, getting started with tech, and more.

   Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.  

Practique inglés o español y ayude a los demás que están aprendiendo en un ambiente amable. Los participantes hablan la mitad del tiempo en inglés y la otra en español. Están bienvenidos los principiantes.

Practice English or Spanish and help other learners in a friendly atmosphere. Participants speak half the time in English and half in Spanish. Beginners welcome.

Learn about the process of becoming a citizen in an 11-week series of classes. Prepare for your citizenship interview. Study United States history and government for the examination. Classes are taught by a volunteer from SOAR Legal.

Join us for a two-hour exploration into the world of songwriting! In this unique program, attendees will have the opportunity to experience a live performance by a professional musician, followed by an intimate discussion that delves into the inspiration, process, and artistry behind their songs.

Learn to source and repurpose materials, reduce environmental impact, and create statement quilts with text, imagery, and bold messages. Ideal for quilters, fiber artists, and those interested in textile activism. Lead by Sara Flynn, member of Portland Modern Quilt Guild.

Join Habiba, a native of Ghana, in learning the richness of West African culture through song and dance. Habiba offers an interactive, multicultural performance with authentic West African costume, spiced with singing and movement. The whole audience gets involved in simple dance steps, call and response, greetings and phrases, and rhythm drumming.

One-year-olds (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, movement activities, rhymes, books and playtime. This action-packed program engages new walkers in language-based activities. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
