Black Family Storytime: Hello Sunshine!
Join us for a magical Black Family Storytime that celebrates African and African American heritage and culture! Children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members) will have fun with books and stories, songs, a craft, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten.
A Good Yarn Knitting & Crochet Group
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, come join the fun as we learn together. All experience levels and ages welcome. Please bring your own supplies.
K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual
Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies.
We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.
The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Native Family: Native Friends and Family Storytime
Children ages birth to 6 along with their families and friends are welcome to enjoy Native culture through singing, movement, crafts, and stories. Everyone is welcome! Presented by Native library staff. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.
Preschool Sensory Storytime Online
This preschool storytime is especially welcoming for children and families who are looking for a more adaptive virtual storytime experience. This program is intended for children and their caregivers. Participants may be asked to identify themselves either through camera, chat, or by unmuting. Celebrate National Bike Month in this special storytime featuring books, songs, and activities with a bike theme!

Week 1: Collaborative Art (quilt, collage, collaborative drawing, gratitude tree, etc.)
Week 2: Lego Lab
Week 3: Afternoon Art take home craft (exploring watercolors, sculpture with air dry clay, pom pom animals, collage, etc.)
Week 4: STEAM Studio (Science/Engineering, Rube Goldberg Machines, Cardboard construction, Sphero obstacle courses, Minute to Win It Challenges, Marble Runs, etc.)
