Teen Time! Mending Our Ways: Fast Fashion Remix
Concerned about the Earth and fashion forward? Let’s express ourselves and save the Earth! Bring your fast fashion items and let’s do some sewing. In this sewing session, Teens will bring their fast fashion clothing to tear up and bring back to life in a sustainable fashion.
Let’s craft, chat, and challenge.

Read to the Dogs
Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. The dogs and handlers are from Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Dove Lewis Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams and Pet Partners®. For kids and teens. Call 503.988.5123 to register.
K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual
Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies.
We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.
The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Graphic Novel Club grades 6-8
Middle school students are invited to talk about comics and eat snacks! Every meeting includes a short activity related to this month's book. A limited number of books are available for pick up at the library.
Queer Youth Club
A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.
Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth from neighboring schools. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.
Open Mic and Jam Night
This free monthly event welcomes musicians, singers, poets, and creatives of all ages, styles, and skill levels. The evening kicks off with a performance by a local artist, followed by an open mic for individuals and bands to showcase their talents. The evening concludes with a jam session where all participants are invited to come together and create music collaboratively.

Cultivate Initiatives will be in the Midland parking lot offering free hot showers and other resources, including (while supplies last) clothing and hygiene products.

Video Game Club
Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.
Come to the Fairview Library and play some fun games like Mario Kart, Just Dance, and more! For ages 12-18.
Teen Art Gathering: Mess Around and Find Out
Teens are invited to explore and create in multiple art mediums. All skill levels welcome. Supplies and snacks provided, but feel free to bring a work in progress and your own tools.

Creative Learning: LEGO Engineers
Assemble a specific LEGO set, experiment with it to see how it works, and then complete challenges using what you've built and learned!
This program is aimed at young people in grades 4-8. Supplies are limited, so registration is required for each session.
Drop-in Violin Lessons
Learn to play the violin in a welcoming, drop-in environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor. Lessons are first-come, first-served, every 20 minutes. Sign up outside Room 1J or drop in if a slot is open.
Nintendo Switch
Try out Capitol Hill's Nintendo Switch! Test out a new game on the last Friday of every month. Kids play from 3:00 to 4:00, Tweens and Teens play from 4:00-5:00.
