For teens in grades 6-12.

Learn to play the violin in a welcoming, drop-in environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor. Lessons are first-come, first-served, every 20 minutes. Sign up outside Room 1J or drop in if a slot is open.

Come to the Library and play some fun games like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Overcooked, board games, card games, and more! For grades 6 through 12.

Springtime can be a true test of our immune system. Discuss trusted herbs to keep on hand for immune support when the first signs of a cold start to appear. Make an herbal honey and herb infused vinegar to take home while tasting different teas with Saundra Kamman of Bloom and Grow Nutrition. Space is limited to the first 20 attendees.

 Teens are invited to chill out and come work on crafts! Materials provided!   

 Work on the DIY craft of the week, or do your own thing with our location's craft materials! Sew, paint, glue, make, design; the sky's your limit! Learn alongside others, share your knowledge and explore new ways of making things!

For teens in grades 6-12.

Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.
