For teens in grades 6-12.
K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual
Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies.
We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.
The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Teen Time! Teens vs Gaming Librarians Trivia Edition
The gaming librarians are at it again! This time we’re challenging Teens to join us in an afternoon of Trivia. Do you know pop culture better than the gaming librarians? Do you know more about sports than the gaming librarians? We’ll see if the Teens take home the win!
Queer Youth Club
A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.
Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth from neighboring schools. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.
Music Discovery
Music Discovery is an open lab format that provides community members access to library equipment for learning about digital and analog music creation. Whether you're interested in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) or ukuleles, you're welcome to play, demo equipment, and ask our knowledgeable staff questions about creating your own music and collaborating with others. Make Your Own Sensory Jar for Teens
Teens age 12-18, create your own sensory jar! Create a calming and colorful jar full of wonderful things that move and sparkle. All materials provided. Led by the Rockwood Library Teen Council.

Free Create With the Glowforge Laser Cutter
Already have experience with a Glowforge laser cutter? Register for this session to use the cutter and get help from staff on creating a project of your choice (subject to time limits). A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.
Space is limited and registration is required.
Video Game Club
Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.
