A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.

Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth during the summer while school GSAs (Genders & Sexualities Alliances) are closed. This club will run from June 18-August 20. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.

Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along. 

No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.

Pioneers of Portland Punk 1977-1984: Collins Gallery

Portland was the birthplace of bands like The Wipers, Neo Boys, The Rat$, Poison Idea, and so many more. Experience Portland's DIY punk music scene (1977-1984) through photos, artifacts, memorabilia, original artwork, flyers, zines . . . and whatever else we dug out of our attics.

Silly Storytime for Families - outdoors!

Children of all ages are invited to this series of silly, goofy, wacky Storytimes filled with songs, crafts, and stories! Come with your clothes on backwards or with your best kooky hair, however you want to show up is more than welcome. Weather permitting, Silly Storytime will be held on the lawn outside the Multnomah County Library at University of Oregon pop-up; otherwise they'll be inside.

Kids Junk Orchestra's Rhythm & Motion Class

Kids will love making noise with Kids Junk Orchestra! Through the use of non-conventional items such as buckets and recycled items, youth learn how to create various sounds and rhythms. This class focuses on group cooperation, basic rhythm drumming skills, team building, specialized drumming instruction and a safe environment to perform musically. This event is first-come, first serve.
