Join us for the critically-acclaimed documentary about Black cowboys living in Compton and South Central Los Angeles. Long before hip-hop and gang culture, South LA was home to world-championship African American cowboys. Yet when a mysterious arson attempt in 2012 forces the closure of their stable — called “The Hill”— this historic culture must fight to survive and live out their vision of the West.

Begin to master the spectrum of capabilities within Microsoft Word, gaining practical formatting skills and an introduction to advanced skills such as design and layout. Students will learn to navigate the tabs and ribbon within Word and understand how to use the tools that word processing software can provide to job seekers and employees in the workforce.

Queer Youth Club
A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.
Queer Youth Club is a youth-run club for that unites LGBTQIA+ and allied youth during the summer while school GSAs (Genders & Sexualities Alliances) are closed. This club will run from June 18-August 20. Email alecc@multcolib.org for more information.

What will you create? Bring your ideas, inventions, and projects to share or to get help on. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. If you are new to computers, entry-level computer classes and one-on-one assistance are available at the library.

Stones, Bones, and Black-Eyed Peas presents: Juneteenth Food, Texas Style! Join chef and owner of Finer Things Events and Catering, Michelle Guinn, with her daughter, Sable Askew and take a trip back into history.
