Become comfortable utilizing the video software Google Meet. Commonly used in interview settings and work meetings, this class prepares students for using video call software in professional settings. In this class students will learn how to create or join a call, video call etiquette, and the different settings and control options on Google Meet.

Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, with bonus socialization for babies and the adults.

Play and learning go hand in hand. Join other families for a fun playtime (for ages 2-3) with books, toys, music, and all the room you need to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

In honor of Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, join us for an eclectic mix of music from China and the West, including opera, ballet, movies and musicals! Presented by The Orchid Trio, a string trio with violinist Siying Ge, violist Deborah Shuster, and cellist Quinn Liu.

What will you create? Bring your ideas, inventions, and projects to share or to get help on. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. If you are new to computers, tech help resources are available at the library.

Join our annual celebration of the Horn of Africa. Children and youth can experience traditional Somali henna with local artist Ayni Amir. Taste and appreciate traditional Eritrean coffee with Edom Daniel.  All are welcome to learn about these beautiful aspects of northeast African culture. Enjoy culture, artistry, and gathering together with our wonderful community in Capitol Hill. First come, first served only!

Connect to your inner child while creating a decorative healing doll that memorializes your inner and outer beauty and reminds you of your experiences, magnificence, power and purpose.
