Portland was the birthplace of bands like The Wipers, Neo Boys, The Rat$, Poison Idea, and so many more. Experience Portland's DIY punk music scene (1977-1984) through photos, artifacts, memorabilia, original artwork, flyers, zines . . . and whatever else we dug out of our attics.

This Safety Side Up course provides discussion, activities and hands-on practice to increase your confidence and give you the skills you need to be the best babysitter possible, including, safely find and prepare for a babysitting job, care for kids of all ages and deal with difficult situations, prepare safe and fun activities, making safe choices and basic first aid.

Lunch is provided.

Build a strong foundation in your educational journey by learning the basics of computer use. Starting with the basics of logging in, to accessing computer settings to personalize the user’s experience; this class offers all computer users valuable information.

Acclaimed Portland family performer Red Yarn presents "The Get-Together," a lively music & puppet show where all are welcome! Red Yarn mixes traditional folksongs, originals inspired by music of the '50s & '60s, and sweet & silly puppet skits. Audiences will sing, dance, make new friends & experience the joy of community at this inclusive family shindig.

Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy free summer lunch at Gresham Library. No reservations/sign-ups required. Lunch may be served hot or cold.

What will you create? Bring your ideas and make them a reality with 3D printers, craft cutters, laser cutter, sewing machines, art supplies and more.

Join us at the library for an immersive journey into the world of video editing! This class is designed to unleash your creativity and sharpen your editing skills. Krystál will guide you through the fundamentals of video editing software. Learn to trim, transition and enhance your footage with special effects and audio adjustments in a supportive community environment. 

Meet representatives from Springdale Job Corps to learn about the free programs available. Job Corps provides young people with the skills they need to find jobs and helps steer them towards their right career path. 

No need to register, drop in any time during the session to get information and have your questions answered. 

Parent and caregivers and invited to get creative with their children during Family Craft Time. We will be making gratitude jars - an easy way to be thankful every day. Children can create with assistance from their parents and caregivers, or work independently alongside. 

Experiment with new creative tools! This summer we're featuring the Silhouette Cameo Craft cutter, which lets you make stickers, pop-up cards, heat transfer vinyl designs, and more. Other creative materials for drawing, making buttons and stickers, and creating items with 3D pens will be available as well.

Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids ages 9-12.
