Puppet Workshop: Nico the Banana Slug
Welcome to an exciting journey into the vibrant world of Nico, the banana slug, and his adventure in Forest Park! In this interactive program, children will not only immerse themselves in the charming story of Nico written by Joeanally Gonzalez but also bring the characters to life through a creative puppet workshop. We will talk about Forest Park's ecosystem and the importance of taking care of it.
Children's Blues Music with Wendy and DB
Wendy and DB have pioneered a blues inspired space in children’s music. Through folklore, stories and song, they explore themes of freedom, love, self worth, creativity and curiosity. Wendy and DB use their voices, ukulele, percussion and guitars to bring high-energy music to every performance! Space is limited.

In this class you'll learn all about needle felting: what types of fibers work best, selecting appropriate felting needles, and how to sculpt complex shapes. At the end of this class you'll be equipped with the skills to do all sorts of needle felting projects. Let's craft together!

Help your librarian choose the best books, movies, comics, programs and events for you and your friends. Have fun working on special projects, making new friends, and creating the perfect library for you! This is a volunteer position and snacks will be provided. For kids ages 9-12.
