Pioneers of Portland Punk 1977-1984: Collins Gallery

Portland was the birthplace of bands like The Wipers, Neo Boys, The Rat$, Poison Idea, and so many more. Experience Portland's DIY punk music scene (1977-1984) through photos, artifacts, memorabilia, original artwork, flyers, zines . . . and whatever else we dug out of our attics.

School Corps librarians will also share read-alouds that pique young learners’ interests and get them excited about books. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance that can be used towards professional development hours.
