Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along. 

No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.

One-year-olds (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, movement activities, rhymes, books and playtime. This action-packed program engages new walkers in language-based activities.

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills.

Children of all ages are invited to this series of silly, goofy, wacky Storytimes filled with songs, crafts, and stories! Come with your clothes on backwards or with your best kooky hair, however you want to show up is more than welcome. Weather permitting, Silly Storytime will be held on the lawn outside the Multnomah County Library at University of Oregon pop-up; otherwise they'll be inside.

What will you create? Bring your ideas and make them a reality with 3D printers, craft cutters, laser cutter, sewing machines, art supplies and more.

For teens in grades 6-12.

Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

This Safety Side Up course provides discussion, activities and hands-on practice to increase your confidence and give you the skills you need to be the best babysitter possible, including, safely find and prepare for a babysitting job, care for kids of all ages and deal with difficult situations, prepare safe and fun activities, making safe choices and basic first aid.

Lunch is provided.

Explore the potential of the free word processing software—Google Docs. This class (which requires students have a Google Account) introduces students to the formatting of Google Docs and allows students to explore the system of drop-down menus to format, create, and insert objects into a document.

Wendy and DB have pioneered a blues inspired space in children’s music.  Through folklore, stories and song, they explore themes of freedom, love, self worth, creativity and curiosity.  Wendy and DB use their voices, ukulele, percussion and guitars to bring high-energy music to every performance! Space is limited.

Felt a fuzzy frog friend! The perfect introduction to felting simple animals. In this class you'll learn all about needle felting: what types of fibers work best, selecting appropriate felting needles, and how to sculpt complex shapes. At the end of this class you'll be equipped with the skills to do all sorts of needle felting projects. Let's craft together!

Comics are a great way to tell stories and make people laugh, but did you know they can also bring positive change to the world? Join Wildfire cartoonist Breena Bard for this workshop demonstrating the basics of making comics, designing characters, and writing a script. Then put your skills to work to write a one-page comic about an issue you care about! Let's change the world, one comic at a time.
