Time Sound features director Arietta Ward presenting compositions crafted by Albina's Black musician community. Standing on the shoulders of the community's music legends, the concert features an intergenerational cast of homegrown musicians honoring Albina’s cultural heritage. The evolution of Time Sound dates back to the early 1980s, when Albina's elder musicians developed the concert series. Decades later, Arietta Ward and Albina Music Trust continue to preserve this unique tradition in Albina's Black musician community.
