Teens: Earn-a-Bike Repair Workshop

Gain hands-on experience by repairing a bike provided by Bike Works by p:ear. Bike mechanics will guide you through some basic bike repairs on a BMX bike. By the end of the two-day workshop, students will take home their newly repaired BMX bike.

All materials are provided. Grades 6-12. Registration is required; sign ups will open on May 26.

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens May 26.

Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.
