Teen drop-in: Get creative at the makerspace!
Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.
Video Game Club - For Teens
Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our gaming club! We'll play games, talk about games and eat snacks.

Every participant must sign up in advance to reserve their spot. No library card required. All materials are provided. Registration opens three weeks in advance.

Rollercoaster Madness with OMSI
Take your kid(s) on a wild ride with this workshop that lets them design and test their own marble coaster, complete with loops and jumps. Best for grades 2-8 (with a grownup for grades 2-5).
There are two of the same session, please register only for one and only take a registration slot for the youth participating! Grown ups are welcome but don't need to take up a slot.

Spectacular Arcade for Kids with Tinker Camp
Pretend that an evil landlord is about to close the doors on your beloved library. You and your friends are the only hope for keeping the doors open with the help of Tinker Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to STEAM education in your community. You decide that the best way to save the building is to create an arcade of games and invite the neighbors to come and play to raise the rent!

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

FLIP Museum
Come play at the mobile version of the FLIP Museum! Play is such an important of learning and growing. Kids from birth - 10 and their caregivers will enjoy hands on play and crafts. Fun, Learning, Inspiration, and Play -- FLIP!

Use a 3D printer and get help from staff on creating a project of your choice (subject to time limits). No experience necessary! A selection of colors of PLA will be available for you to use.

This 2-hour introductory course is designed for aspiring videographers and anyone interested in learning the fundamental principles of video production. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of key videography concepts, empowering them to capture compelling and professional-looking footage. All necessary camera equipment will be provided for hands-on learning.
