Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.

Learn how a rough recording becomes a finished track. this hands-on intro to mixing covers the moves that make a song sit right. Balancing levels, shaping tone with EQ, adding space, and gluing it all together. You'll work on real material with the gear provided, and our expert instructors from Ext.606 are glad to help at any level.

Staff and volunteers will help you design your own creation and then send it to the laser cutter (subject to time limits). Keychains, magnets, phone stands, decorative boxes, ornaments, puzzles -- there are many options! No experience necessary. An assortment of laser-safe materials will be available.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens September 29.

Whether you're brand new to 3D printing or already have an STL file ready, we'll help you on the next step of your 3D printing journey. No experience necessary. An assortment of colors of PLA will be available.
