K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual

Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

African Song and Dance Workshop

Join Habiba, a native of Ghana, in learning the richness of West African culture through song and dance. Habiba offers an interactive, multicultural lesson with authentic West African costume, spiced with singing and movement. The whole audience gets involved in simple dance steps, call and response, greetings and phrases, and rhythm drumming.

Family Yoga

Join Chelsea Hoshaw for a family-friendly yoga class! Family yoga includes songs, books, meditation, movement and emotional regulation techniques for the whole family! Child-sized mats will be supplied; families can bring their own adult mats if they would like. This class is geared toward 0-6 but siblings can come, too. Each child needs to have an adult and adults are encouraged to participate.
