Black History Month: Black Family Storytime

Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

You Too Can Craft! Crochet Hearts

You can learn how to crochet little hearts. Turn them into pins to share with those you love or ones to whom you want to show your gratitude. The patterns use several crochet stitches but class will include instruction in those stitches. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own.

K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual

Virtual Tutoring is for Multnomah County students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Felted Acorns for Tweens

Channel your inner squirrel and learn to make sweet little felted acorns out of wool. We will be wet felting, so hands will get wet and soapy. With real acorn caps, these acorns can be strung into a garland, or tucked into a pocket for luck!

This program is intended for patrons between 9-12. First come, first served.
