Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

The African and African American experience comes alive for children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members). Have fun with books and stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Central Library, beloved by the community since 1913, is now open with modern enhancements for you to enjoy!  

Join us for a 45 minutes walking tour through the building.  No registration required. 

Explore and observe natural specimens to create detailed nature-based artworks, including animal skulls, insect specimens, plant materials and other natural materials. Work in pencil, pen, ink and watercolor on high-quality printmaking paper. This activity is open to any skill level.

Join Whiskers and Tails for a heartwarming day of rabbit-assisted wellness and learning. Experience the calming presence of rabbits through guided interactions. A gentle, enriching event designed to promote relaxation, connection, and emotional well-being for all ages. 

Space is limited and attendees will rotate out after 15 minutes if other patrons are waiting.

Join Chelsea Hoshaw for a family-friendly yoga class! Family yoga includes songs, books, meditation, movement and emotional regulation techniques for the whole family! Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one - mats are limited.

This class is geared toward 0-6 but siblings can come, too. Each child needs to have an adult and adults are encouraged to participate.
