Kids in grades 4-5 are invited to talk about graphic novels and eat snacks! For September’s meeting we’ll be discussing and voting on which books we want to read for the year and you’ll also get a copy of October’s book.

Black Family Storytime Online: Back to school!
Let’s celebrate Black and African American heritage and culture together! Children from birth to age 6 (with their favorite adult/family members) can put on their pajamas and have fun with books, stories, songs, and movement activities in a positive and affirming online environment that builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten. Come sing, listen, learn and celebrate. Join Karen Kitchen (Osage Nation) for this story hour featuring songs and books from Native cultures. Children, families, elders, aunties and uncles — everyone is welcome. Note there are also in person events with Karen, but this one is online!
