Based on the classic story, this Dragon Theater Puppets and Princesses production is about a dragon and a knight that must work together to convince the village that the dragon is nice.

Newel Briggs and his band perform lively jazz that is good for the soul and will make everyone get off their chairs and start movin’ to the groove!

Bricolage Baubles with Britt Howard and Emily Counts
Join the Regional Arts and Culture Council with artists Britt Howard and Emily Counts for a bricolage workshop! Celebrate new, large-scale public artworks that now adorn the second floor of Belmont Library. Meet the artists and work alongside them to create a one-of-a-kind decorative bauble keepsake to take home! This event is free and open to all.

Summer Reading: Family Circus Workshop with Circus Cascadia
Families are invited to try circus skills together, led by experienced instructors from Circus Cascadia. The goal of a family circus workshop is to get parents and children playing together! It can include tightrope, walking globe, juggling scarves, flowersticks and other circus equipment. The workshop can begin with a scarf circle as a whole group, followed by a more freeform structure of guided exploration and play.
Edible Wild Plants: Free Foods From Foraging to Feasting
There is free food ahead! Join local author, educator and owner of Wild Food Adventures Outdoor School, John Kallas. Listen to an eye-opening presentation about easy, abundant and edible wild plants. These are plants you could incorporate into your everyday diet. This talk is about the plants covered in his Edible Wild Plants book series.
