Multnomah COunty Library Read

Read, Renew, Repeat at Multnomah County Library. Play the Summer Reading game!

Read for fun and prizes this summer. Babies, kids and teens can play the Summer Reading game by starting a daily reading habit. In addition, the library will have fun interactive in-person and virtual performances, storytelling, and arts and crafts for kids and families. It all kicks off June 16!

Kids of all ages can play online or on paper.

Use this gameboard or play online at multcolib.beanstack.org.

How to play:

  • Mark a space for each day you read, listen to a book, or do any summer learning activity.
  • After marking 15 spaces, come to the library and pick out one prize (while supplies last). First day to claim a level 1 prize is June 30.
  • After marking 30 spaces, come to the library and pick out one prize (while supplies last). First day to claim a level 2 prize is July 15.
  • After marking 45 spaces, come to the library to fill out the finisher form. You can pick up a T-shirt or onesie and one prize (while supplies last). First day to claim the finisher prize is July 30.
  • Youth have the option to enter a raffle drawing instead of claiming a prize at each of the three levels.
  • The finisher form will also be the entry into the Grand Prize drawing. The last day to turn in forms to the library is August 31.

Each person can play only one time between June 16 and August 31. Only one prize may be claimed per level, with a total of three levels. Complete 45 days and turn in a completed finisher form to be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for your age group (Ages 0-4; kindergarten to grade 8; grades 9-12).

Summer Reading game rules:

Participation is limited to ages 0-18. There is no cost to play or win. You must be a resident of Multnomah County to be eligible to win the Grand Prize drawing. Odds of winning Grand Prizes or raffle are based on the number of entries received. Winners are drawn at random. Grand Prize and raffle winners will be notified and announced by October 15.
