Come play American Mahjong at the library and connect with community! Experienced players welcome are invited to join our fun and friendly group. Be sure to bring your current National Mah Jongg League cards. 

Learn to prepare an existing model for 3D printing on one of the library's Bambu X1 Carbon printers, then start experimenting with 3D modeling. All materials will be provided.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens May 11.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, come join the fun as we learn together. All experience levels and ages welcome. Please bring your own supplies.

Do you like to game? Are you in middle or high school? If so, join our game night the first Tuesday of every month! We'll play video games and board games, talk about games, and eat snacks.

A safe place where ALL are welcome to be themselves. Find support, eat snacks, get creative, discuss favorite books, and more! Bring a friend, or make a new one. For grades 5-8.

Use library equipment for learning about digital and analog music creation! Whether you come for Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) or ukuleles, you're welcome here! Play, demo equipment, and ask questions to our knowledgeable staff. Get answers about creating music at the library!

Use a Glowforge laser cutter to engrave and cut designs out of acrylic or wood, with assistance from staff and volunteers. No experience needed! A selection of laser-safe materials will be available for you to use.

Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Teens are invited to come work on crafts! Materials provided! 

Work on the DIY craft of the week, or do your own thing with our location's craft materials! Sew, paint, glue, make, design; the sky's your limit! Learn alongside others, share your knowledge and explore new ways of making things!

Join us in celebrating the beauty and resilience of Black hair! Design and paint a canvas inspired by natural hair with The Lamb Art Studio. Decorate your canvas with beads as symbols of cultural joy and self-love. Each session will have a different design, and participants may join as many as they wish! This class is trauma-informed and wellness-based.

Albina Music Club is a convenient drop-in style program, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Join quick sessions that provide insight and tips! Create and connect with fellow music lovers. Learn by doing with industry-standard software and hardware.

龙舟，也是端午节期间使用的人力船只。龙舟不但具有文化属性，更发展为体育活动。波特兰举行龙舟比赛也有近30年历史，让我们用3D笔来做只独一无二的龙舟，一起庆祝今年的端午节。先到先得。

Come enjoy a quiet place to study or read at the Albina Teen Space! We will play study music and provide supplies, light refreshments, fidgets, and sensory tools. Study for those finals, catch up on that book, or just enjoy some quiet time in company. Drop in at any time and stay as little or as long as you’d like. The program is first come, first serve, no registration needed!   

Step into the world of beats, rhythms, and melodies as you learn what it means to be a DJ. This program offers an immersive and hands-on introduction to the craft of DJing. Both tools of the trade and strategies of the art will be studied.

Incite: Queer Writers Read is a curated, bimonthly reading series for Queer writers. Incite’s goal is to create conversation, connection and greater understanding both within the Queer community and with other communities. Hosted by Vinnie Kinsella and JP Perrine. The featured readers for June are Zoë Gamell Brown, Charlie J. Stephens and Samson Syharath.
