The library has a selection of Ukrainian materials in its collection! This includes Ukrainian e-books and audiobooks with over 500 e-materials. Patrons can also check out physical books too.
The collection of physical books includes over 800 physical books, with more added each year. Selections include adult, teen, and children’s books in fiction, nonfiction and other genres.
“After years of working towards building this collection in our library, I'm thrilled about the opportunity to offer Ukrainian language materials to our Ukrainian community,” says Angela Gatitski, Ukrainian materials selector.
The Ukrainian collection is part of the World Language Collection at the library. You can find the Ukrainian collection at Central and Midland libraries in the adult, teen, and children’s sections. Browse booklists for adult books and children’s books from the library website and have books delivered to your local library for pick up.
This combined e-collection and physical book collection means that there are more than 1,300 Ukrainian materials available at the library. The library is excited to share these books, so make sure to place your hold today!
