Join us for a special storytime celebrating African American heritage and culture! Get ready to boogie at our Black Family Storytime: Boo Bash, with costumes welcomed! Children from birth to age 6 will have fun with books, songs, a pumpkin craft, and movement activities in a positive and affirming environment. Black Storytime builds language and literacy skills your child needs to be ready for kindergarten.

Test your video game skills in a friendly, high- energy competition. A different game will be selected each month. Sign-ups start 15 minutes before the tournament begins.

Want to show employers you know how to use a computer? The library can help you earn free certificates through a program called Northstar Digital Literacy.

Northstar teaches computer basics and programs like Microsoft Excel through short, easy lessons you can work through at your own pace.

Enhance your professional competencies by beginning to utilize the capabilities possible with Microsoft Excel. Students will be introduced to critical Excel functions such as creating graphs and tables from data sets, becoming familiar with tools to sort and filter large data sets, and enhance the efficiency of their data entry.

We can help you with technology! 

Meet one-on-one with a friendly, knowledgeable Tech Helper who will help you find answers to questions about mobile devices, websites, getting started with tech, and more.

Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

Do you need some help with your resume? Are you unsure about your choice of words? Struggling to describe your accomplishments? Come meet with an experienced volunteer for a one-on-one review. If you have a paper copy of your resume, please bring it along. 

No registration required, drop in during the scheduled time for first come first served help. Sessions are generally 30 minutes.
